National Guard Ready Building Fort Pickett, Blackstone, Virginia

The Tesoro/Burgess & Niple team designed and built a 12,000 square
foot Ready Building for the Virginia National Guard. The building
was constructed of brick and concrete block with concrete floors.
There were also outside supporting facilities including military and
privately-owned vehicle parking, fencing, sidewalks and access
roads. The design incorporated cost effective energy conserving features such as energy management control systems, high efficiency motors and lighting, and geothermal HVAC systems. |
