This was Tesoro’s first Fast Track, Design-Build project. Partnering
with the Navy Public Works Center design team, we renovated 6,200
square feet of office space to support the Commander, Navy Region
Mid-Atlantic and his Executive Support Staff. The project included
demolition, lead and asbestos abatement, historical restoration,
mechanical and electrical systems replacement, and installation of
systems furniture. Through informal partnering with Public Works Center design professionals, the ROICC, and the end user representatives, |
Tesoro was able to deliver high quality spaces in 13 weeks. This was
accomplished in spite of significant asbestos and lead abatement and
mandated consultations with the State Historic Preservation Office.
