This project entailed major renovation to 57 munitions magazines.
Specific work included extensive site work to remove the earth cover
of the magazine structures, removal and reinstallation of
damp-proofing and supporting drainage structures, installation of
new grounding systems, placing and compacting an earth cover on top
of the magazines, fine grading, and the placement of sod over the
entire structure of all magazines. Interior work consisted of selected demolition, repairs to electrical systems, structural repairs to concrete, and repair or replacement of doors, weather-stripping and trench drains.
