The project consisted
of the conversion of an existing linear accelerator vault into a
new, state of the art, Synergy S unit for the treatment of cancers
throughout the body.
Work included a new vault door in the existing concrete walls and the replacement of dedicated mechanical, plumbing, medical gas and electrical systems. The project was completed while keeping the linear accelerator rooms immediately adjacent the project site in service with no operational interruptions. |
