This was a design-build project for site development and new construction of 14 duplex units (28 housing units; 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom layouts). The project included new storm water, sewer and domestic water systems, and road construction. The domestic water system was installed beyond the planned area to accommodate future growth.

The duplexes are slab-on-grade, panel-built construction; one unit of each bedroom layout meets ADA requirements. Interior work is typical of new housing construction, and exterior work includes screened-in porches, extensive landscaping,
and a playground and restroom area for community residents. This Coast Guard Family Housing adjoins existing Navy Housing, and design efforts successfully made a smooth transition.
