John Finefrock, CPA
John joined Tesoro in 2007 as
the Comptroller. He currently directs Tesoro’s Finance Department and
supervises an Accountant, Buyer and the support staff in his division. John
oversees the daily activities of the company budget and manages corporate cash
flow and investments. He prepares monthly and quarterly financial statements,
interacts with Program and Project Managers to assist in analyzing and
controlling project costs, and is the liaison with bankers, bonders, insurers,
and auditors.
John has over 25 years experience in the Finance industry and related fields. He began
his career in banking and moved up to become a Financial Service
Consultant in Tennessee for several years providing financial consulting
support. In his most recent position John served as a Certified Public Accountant
with a Virginia Beach accounting firm.
