Michael H. Conaway, P.E.
Mike joined Tesoro in October 2006 to lead our business development and marketing efforts and promoted to Executive Vice President in 2008. He is currently responsible for the daily management of Tesoro’s operations and leading an integrated team of construction professionals.
Mike has 30 years of experience in engineering, construction, and program and project management. For most of his professional career, he served in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps where he held a variety of leadership and management positions including Vice Commander of Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic and Commanding Officer of NAVFAC Northwest. While in the Navy, Mike was a member of the Acquisition Professional Community and was a Warranted Contracting Officer with unlimited authority. Following his Navy career and just prior to joining Tesoro, he worked for HNTB Federal Services Corporation, a national architect-engineer firm, where he was the Department of Defense Market Sector Leader.
