| This project involved alteration and renovation of office spaces in 26
areas of five different buildings, and consisted of 14 phases. Each phase comprised (1) vacating the premises and removing
existing furnishings, (2) renovation of offices, (3) installing new
furniture, and (4) moving in new occupants.
Originally scheduled for completion in one year, the project
required close coordination of activities by Navy construction managers. On every phase, Tesoro Corporation
finished their work, which often included unforeseen changes, on or before
the scheduled completion date. As
a tribute to their outstanding performance on this project, Tesoro
received the prestigious Navy Chief of Civil Engineers Award. |
